Hey there, my name is John and I've been a guitarist for 21 years. It all began when watching a Jimi Hendrix documentary and I just HAD to learn how to play. I thought I could play like him at first...I was wrong the fact is, no one can. But the love has always been there and I consider it one of the greatest blessings in my life. Being self-taught, I learned more from "feel" and intuition-playing along with the songs, learning tablature, etc. Over time I acquired the knowledge of chords, scales, and overall the tricks of the trade. My approach as a teacher will be to learn about your own musical inspirations and, from this start point, develop a method of lessons that will bring to fruition the experiences of your own "voice".
