About Me

Jorge is a first-generation Salvadoran American producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist born in Redwood City, California. His musical journey began in 2000 when he picked up his first instrument in the 5th grade band class, alto saxophone. He would go on to be classically and jazz-trained throughout college and played in numerous symphonic and studio jazz bands. Along the way, he took classical piano lessons and taught himself to play the guitar during his lunch breaks in middle school. Later in 2004, he formed a pop punk band where he played rhythm guitar and backup vocals. He co-wrote and produced all of the songs. It was in the recording process of those records that he discovered his obsession with audio and music production. After that, a never-ending quest would unfold to learn everything he could about the art of engineering. Fast forward to 2010, he's introduced to hit producer/songwriter Brian Alexander Morgan, who had produced and written for major artists like Usher, Mariah Carey, SWV, etc. Excited to have met someone actually in the industry, they started connecting more at his studio in Sacramento, CA where he lived at the time. He would eventually hire him as his personal engineer and have him relocate to Los Angeles with him in 2011. They would go on to cut records for many artists including Faith Evans, Tamar Braxton, Jill Scott, and Muni Long to name a few. He made many unique connections and experiences that would later help shape his future. In 2016 after he had already moved back up to Northern California, a stripped-down keys-only version of a demo they made for Justin Beiber years prior fell into the hands of Noah "40" Shebib. That sample ended up being one of Jorge's biggest engineering and sound design contributions which happened to land on Drake's "Views" album. It was nominated for a GRAMMY award following its release. The song "9" was the second track on the album and was produced by Noah "40" Shebib, Boi-1da, and Brian Alexander Morgan. Since then the album has been certified six times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America RIAA. After moving back up north, he founded a production company called Fvders Music Group with long-time collaborator Tatum Martin. They would go on to produce records for PARTYNEXTDOOR, Roy Woods, Reason, YFL Kelvin, and many more. In 2018 YFL Kelvin signed a multi-million dollar deal with Def Jam Recordings following the completion of his album "Outta Here", in which 7 out of the 10 songs were produced by The Fvders featuring Moneybagg Yo on the main single entitled "Nasdaq".

We will go in depth in each program so that the student will learn at least the basics on how to run a session on their own. Advanced students will get to learn advanced mixing and production techniques.
