Hello, my name is Laura and I am a private voice and piano instructor from Alvin, TX. I have been a student of music for over 10 years and have my Bachelor of Arts in Music: Voice, which I completed at Houston Christian University. My musical talents primarily include singing and performing, but I also enjoy playing the guitar, ukulele, and piano. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to sing or play piano (or both!) with proper technique and learn basic music theory as well as how valuable the power of music truly is. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students grow into flourishing musicians and see them retain the concepts that we discuss. I primarily teach voice, but I also teach beginner piano lessons. My approach as a teacher is to encourage my students to do the best that they can and most of all to make music fun!
