What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Contrary to common misconceptions, students will learn a plethora of skills in voice lessons-not just singing notes on a page! You'll learn healthy vocal technique, aural skills, music theory, and music history as you learn and study appropriate repertoire. Whether you're looking to improve your technique, prepare for an audition, or just sing for fun, I can help.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

In my songwriting lessons, students can expect a personalized approach that nurtures their creativity and unique style. I guide them through melody, lyrics, structure, and instrumentation, using traditional counterpoint and music theory techniques to enrich the songwriting process. Together, we explore storytelling through music, aiming to connect with audiences authentically while fostering a deep passion for songwriting.

I had the pleasure of studying singing and composition with Kaitlin. She is incredibly knowledgeable and patient with students through the learning process. Her guidance not only helped refine my vocal technique but also deepened my understanding of music theory and composition. Kaitlin's passion and expertise for all things music is clear through every lesson, and she is well-versed in a variety of styles from classical, modern, to gospel. I wholeheartedly recommend Kaitlin to anyone seeking a dedicated and skilled music teacher. Xavier M wrote on Mon, 30 Nov -0001
