John began singing at the age of 5. Over the years, he developed his skills further by persistently listening to hit artists and studying their vocals. He gained performance experience in the New York and New Jersey area by playing clubs and concerts, as well as a guest artist at the Meadowlands with Bruce Springsteen's guitarist Steven Van Zandt.
