Landon P.

Landon began playing piano at the age of five. Over the years, he developed his skills further by playing viola in his school orchestra. In high school, he started learning guitar. Now, as a Recording Arts Major attending CU Denver, he continues to study piano, guitar and music theory, as well as studio/recording techniques. He gained performance experience in the Provo, Utah area by playing at such venues as Muse Music Cafe and Velour. He played as a bassist for alternative rock band Shallow Sky, then for a rock/jazz fusion group Cyber Cowboy and the Flying Coffee Beans. Though Landon can teach many different genres of music, his personal favorites are Nirvana, James Taylor, and Francisco Tarrega, who have had great influence on his style of playing. Landon loves music because it lets you express and create simultaneously, and loves teaching music because he loves seeing others make progress in a passion that brings lifelong rewards.
