I received an electric guitar as a gift in the mid 80's. I was hooked. Sometimes practicing up to nine hours a day. Later, I devoured as much music theory as I could to expand my understanding of how it all worked. Fast forward, I've been playing guitar for over 35 years. Of those, I've been professionally leading worship for 23 years. I've performed in small venues and at weddings as a soloist. And as the lead guitarist in band I've performed in concert halls. Although it's not listed officially as an option in my profile, I am ready, able, and would love to teach ukulele! In Hawaii, from 2, I played the ukulele (and guitar) regularly in weddings and other events. I can also teach bass at a beginner's level.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I've created a fun yet detailed approach to learning guitar or ukulele that's custom built around your musical tastes and goals. I don't water down information to stretch out lessons. You can expect lessons full of good information with clear goals.
Formal Education:
High School and some college
Private Education:
Self-taught.
Performing Experience:
My primary performance experience is from leading worship for 23 years. Next, I have 4 years experience to-date of performing tor weddings playing the ukulele and guitar. In addition, I've played in coffee shops, conferences, parties, and misc venues, with a band as the lead guitarist.
Experience Teaching:
I've taught both individual and group guitar lessons for a wide age range (7-80). I'm willing to teach any age group.
