Playing guitar is one of my life's passions. I have been playing since 1974 and love every minute. I can handle just about every genre of music but my first loves are jazz, blues, and southern rock styles. I have been influenced by the Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Dan Fogelberg, Charlie Daniels, Larry Carlton, Joe Pass, George Benson and Wes Montgomery just to name a few. I currently enjoy playing contemporary Christian music and enjoy leading worship and playing with the outstanding like minded musicain in the North Central Ohio area.
My teaching style is laid back, teaching you what you want to learn but at the same time teaching you what you need to learn, such as various strumming and finger picking styles, chording techniques, (open, barre, and jazz chords and other movable chord positions), a variety of scales to enhance lead play. Learning how to read lead sheets and tabs. There is always method behind the madness. I usually assign basic excercises to help you grow in your technique but I will also apply to popular songs or tunes that you are interested in. Bottom line is to have FUN!!

I have done Studio work over the years for various local artist in Philadelpia, Nashville and North Central Ohio.
Currently I am playing with the Keith Stamper Band, and occasionally with Dale Powers and friends. I also play every Sunday with our worship team at church which is my passion.
I have played in a variety of bands over the years including Blues, jazz, country, classic rock, and Contemporary Christian.

I have just started sharing my guitar knowledge over the last 5 years. I love working with all ages from 8-85.
