Hello! My name is Sarah. I am 22 years old and about to graduate with a bachelors degree in music, concentrating in vocal performance. I began singing as young as I can remember, at about 4 years old. I was involved in choir growing up, and got more serious about it in middle school. I knew ever since then I would major in Music. I currently am attending Texas Tech University, and plan to graduate in December of this year. I have experience performing contemporary styles such as pop, rock, and contemporary worship music, as well as classical styles such as opera, art song, etc. I am very passionate about teaching voice lessons. I started teaching lessons when I went into college about 4 years ago. I have experience working with mostly all ages, from 4 years old-35 years old. I love getting to work with all ages. When taking voice lessons with me, you can expect lots of empathy and compassion while also being in an environment where you are encouraged to do well. Experience Teaching:
I have experience giving voice lessons to teens, children and adults. I have worked at a music studio locally, and gained quite a bit of experience with all ages. I assisted with a local school’s choir program for a year during my undergrad, getting to direct a large group of kids and lead sectionals. I also provided voice lessons for younger teens at a local high school for one year, helping them with their repertoire for upcoming competitions, while also helping build their voice.
