I’ve been playing piano for the last 17 years in various formal and nonformal settings. In my lessons I value student connection first, followed by building fundamentals, then performance. I value taking it slow and letting my students make mistakes and learn without pressure. Also, I am familiar with various barriers to learning, including: autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and OCD and am happy to help through any sort of challenge

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
A space to fail comfortably above all. I value building a relationship with my students and making progress as a team. My lessons are structured. At intake we’ll establish prior experience and overall goals. Each lesson will begin with a revisitation of these goals and we’ll get into the material. At the end of each lesson we’ll recap what we went over and set goals for you until we meet again. I structure my lessons such that we will go over all the funadmentals first, then work on application, then on performance. My goals are to make this instrument feel comfortable to you and give you skills you can use for both other instruments and for learning overall.
