When you take a deep breath, do your shoulders go up? Try to talk like Darth Vader... are you aware of what is happening to your voice when you do that? Singing by yourself and singing in a group are completely different, how do you do both? How deep can you sing? How high can you sing? Lets work on both How quietly can you sing in control? How loud? Play a note on a piano... can you immediately sing that note perfectly in tune? These are all things you will understand in time with me.

We're going to go over the open chords. With that you will be able to play 90% of the songs out there. At least simple versions of them We'll go over bar chords. This will unlock the next 10% for learning songs. We will talk about how to add extra "groove" to your chords to make them come to life more. If you stick with it, eventually we'll talk about scales too which I personally find very fun. Learn how to improvise a guitar solo to ANY song. From there we'll move into licks, riffs, phrasing and how to go from just playing a scale over a song to actually playing a guitar solo. Subtopics that will be covered throughout will be things like... parts of the guitar, basic music theory, performance tips, basic mixing gain, reverb, overdrive etc., fretting, etc.
