Darrin began singing in musical theater at the age of 9. Over the years, she developed her skills further by studying Vocal Performance under Dr. Blythe Cates and Musical Theater under Kelan Latimer. She gained performance experience in the Corpus Christi area by playing at such venues as the Harbor Playhouse and Selena Auditorium in both musical theater and choir. Though Darrin can teach many genres of music, her musical personal favorites are musical theater and classical which had a great influence on her style of singing. Darrin loves music because it is a beautiful means of expression and loves teaching music because she enjoys sharing her knowledge with her students. What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
A safe space for them to expand their instincts as musicians, actors, and performers. All students will be encouraged not only to be strong performers, but skillful ones as well. They will learn technique, song interpretation, and occasionally the basics in music theory.
