My name is Saijean I am a 22-year-old guitar student passionate about music. I’m currently looking for students ages 7-17 that are just as passionate about music as I am! I started playing when I was 10 years old learning from YouTube and by ear. Altogether I’ve been playing guitar for an ongoing of 8 years. Additionally, I have been taking music theory lessons for an ongoing of two years now, and I teach guitar at Joyful Sounds School of Music. My goal is to not only grow as a musician but to guide and share knowledge that I have learned with others! I wish I had someone to guide me when I was growing up. So I want to help others not make the same mistakes I did! We are all learning and learning an instrument is a journey! One that you will love! Hope to hear from you!

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner -
Students can expect to learn the basic foundation for piano. How to read standard notation, identify notes on the keyboard or piano, applying correct hand placements, and working on hand dexterity and rhythm. I focus on helping the student work through songs, and applying the basic fundamentals to songs they would like to learn.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect to learn the basic foundation for guitar, standard notation, how to read TAB. And how to apply these fundamentals to guitar. I emphasize that the student learns theory to apply to their fretboard while also taking songs they would like to learn outside of the book and working through the song with the student. As far as more advanced material I teach chord melody, fretboard identification, arpeggios, and scales to the more advanced student on guitar.
