Though Devin can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Progressive Rock, Classical, Romantic, Metal, Jazz, and Orchestration which had a great influence on his style of playing. Devin loves music because he understands the struggle between learning by ear and learning by reading on staff paper. What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Learn how to use Logic for Mac users only. I get in-depth with the idea of digital orchestrating. I dive into detail with every instrument in an orchestra, including strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. their range, what they can and can't do as well as the art of mimicking human mistakes when writing for MIDI software samples. These courses also involve the idea of recording live instruments using a condenser mic and a MIDI keyboard as well as EQ and mixing.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
I teach writing for orchestra and Four-part harmony. These lessons are essentially music theory lessons. You will learn to read music, write music, dictate music, and apply these skills to your own compositions.
