CHRISTIAN | Music expresses that which cannot be said but on which it is impossible to be silent Victor Hugo Christian is a versatile musician and teacher who has performed with symphonies, chamber ensembles, bands, and electronic artists across the Front Range. ​ Christian earned degrees in Viola Performance and Music Education from Colorado State University, where he studied with Dr. Margaret Miller and Dr. Eric Johnson. During his studies there, Christian explored his love of music and has gone on to teach courses in music theory, guitar, piano, music theater, conducting, composition, and music history. ​ Christian currently works in the Boulder Valley School District as Orchestra Director, piano accompanist, and festival coordinator. During his educational career, Christian discovered a passion for sharing the emotional depth of performance with audiences and students, and, because of his electrifying energy, has been invited as an adjudicator, guest conductor, clinician, and coach by schools, festivals, and orchestras across Colorado. ​ A strong believer in the healing and expressive potential of music, Christian works to discover the ways in which music can become a visceral conversation for performers and audiences alike.
