Andrew began playing guitar at age 10. With a desire a play in a rock band he began taking formal lessons. After a few years of lessons he continued to learn on his own by ear. For the next two decades he played in multiple groups. In these bands he performed live hundreds of times while writing original music as well. He has a passion for learning and passing on what he knows. He can teach the essentials while also showing what steps to take whether you want to perform live or just as a killer hobby at home. Either way he will make sure you reach your goals.

Beginner - Intermediate
My students will learn fundamentals. I will get them going on chords, keys, scales, and the anatomy of the guitar. Everything from changing strings to being able to play along to their favorite song. I am less focused on music theory and I am more about the feel of it all.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I will teach them fundamentals. Chord progressions to use, song structure, the hook, lyrical themes, harmonies, etc. I will break down what a song is and write a new song with them.
