Hi, my name is Anthony and I am a vocal/producer from Portland Oregon. I have been a student of music for 14 years. My musical influences include background singing, songwriting, vocal production, and I also enjoy teaching others how to do it. My teaching style can best be described as positive and creative. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I will do everything I can to get you there. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to use control while singing, notation and diction, and if you are a producer you will learn how to create from the heart. I like to tell my students that you can achieve your goals if you continue to believe. My favorite thing about teaching is that I also learn from the students that I have. My favorite performance was when Michael Jackson performed in 1999 in Asia, the way he moved was just outstanding. My students love that I will listen to them and help them achieve thier goals musically in a non judgmental way, and by being patient with them in every endevour. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach songwriting. My approach as a teacher is to bring out there creativity that they already have, and help all students believe in themselves. Students can expect to learn how to bring out their creativity inside from what they hear to them creating. They will learn the basics of recording as well as producing. and how to record themselves first so that they can record others.
