Hi, my name is Kassady and I am a young musician from Philadelphia. I have been a teacher of music for 9+ years. My musical influences include jazz and I also enjoy rhythm and blues. My teaching style can best be described as simple and fast. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that anyone has the ability to learn. In my lessons, you can expect to learn an entire song in one sitting. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students remember and progress. My favorite performance was when I taught all my students the same song and they all performed the song together on the many different instruments they have learned. My students love that I am chill and fun with them, it makes them more comfortable with me. I primarily teach piano, guitar, and drums, but I can also teach many different instruments, including voice. My approach as a teacher is to learn the students learning ways and try to enhance my teaching towards them so they can understand and remember. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Intermediate
They can expect to begin the class knowing the frets and strings, then they will be able to learn how to play any song by ear on their own. They can also learn any song that they want to learn.
What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Intermediate
They can expect to begin the class knowing the frets and strings, then they will be able to learn how to play any song by ear on their own. They can also learn any song that they want to learn as well.
What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Advanced
They will learn the basic drum names and simple coordination practices. They will learn to play to a song and stay on the tracks clicks. Students will learn how to play basic beats and gain a stronger sense of coordination.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Intermediate - Advanced
They will learn the notes of all of the piano keys, and how to listen to a song and be able to play within 5 minutes of hearing the music. the students will be able to pick up on playing the piano with 2 hands. They will be able to learn simple songs ranging from almost any genre.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Advanced
Students will learn how to control their voice and sing comfortably in their range. they will also learn how to stretch their voices to be able to hit notes outside of their comfort. students will learn how to find the perfect songs for their voice and sing almost any song of their choice.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Advanced
Students will learn how to correctly write a song whether it be words or sheet music. They will be able to compose an entire song by the end of the course. They will learn the different parts of a song and different styles as well.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Intermediate
Students will learn the basics of using recording software and how to effectively record a full song. They will be able to produce on their own, listen to songs, and be able to copy the same sounds.
