Oi! I'm Jacob, you can call me Jake! I started listening to a lot of Blink 182 and Jimi Hendrix so I started learning guitar at age 12. I fell in love with making sound and music, so I started practicing every daybecause it was fun. Eventually I ended up playing guitar for six different bands, all with different genres from funk, jazz, reggae, to punk rock. Gotta make it funky tho. I picked up the bass guitar throughout my musical journey and it too became a passion of mine. Wanting to share my knowledge, I started giving music lessons. I got to experience the joys of teaching the power of music and meeting all the different kinds of players! Now, I want to not teach students, but show students that they to speak the beautiful language that is music. Music is easy! Music is fun! Music is powerful!
