Hi, my name is Brittney and I am a flute instructor from Houston. I reside in the Conroe/North Houston area. I have been a student of music for over 15 years, my first instrument was the piano and I started playing the flute in middle school. Some musical influences include Michel Debost, Emmanuel Pahud, Vikingur Olafsson, and Lang Lang. My teaching style is relaxed and positive, yet very constructive in feedback. My approach as a teacher is to teach with confidence yet be relatable to my students. I love to ask questions, both about my students and the music they are playing to see if they know! Impressive!!!
Brittany is such a great teacher. She taught my 7 and 8 year old daughters who knew nothing about the piano when she started. We are amazed at how much our girls have learned from her within 2 months. She is patient with them and creative with her lesson. The girls love her and always loved her teaching.
