I started my journey down the musical path when I was rather young; it would be impossible to pin-point a specific age. 

My family was very musical having my Great Grandfather (as well as an unknown number generations prior going back to Ireland), two uncles, and several cousin all musicians playing a wide variety of instruments including Guitar, Bass, Piano, and Vocal talent.

I became serious about my musical pursuits at the age of 14 starting with bass.  Being the only child in my generation with musical inclination I ended up learning several instruments as well as baring the honor of being the first in my family to experiment with electronic or synthesis musical creation as well as recording and production.  At 15 I received a drum machine for my birthday and with a little analog-tape trickery and my learning to play guitar began experimenting with demo recordings. Eventually, over the years, I would learn very limited amounts of piano to couple with my skills on the guitar, bass, and programming.

I have recorded a personal album in 2000-2002 using virtual instruments along side electric guitar in a complete PC environment.  I am currently working on several projects similar to my earlier work except I will be sharing the recordings via the internet and social networking.

I taught beginner level guitar for a very small stint in 1999 before I left the position to explore the possibility of forming an ensemble and eventually moving on to record the aforementioned album.

I have 'jammed' in several collectives in the past but have never formed a successful band with any of them, mainly due to differences in creative direction.  I do have performance experience with one of my uncles 'bar bands' playing Top 40 and Blues on the bass on several occasions from 16 till 23 when I moved to Minnesota.

For the past 8 years I have been focusing on starting a family while keeping up my abilities as I further developed my production and engineering knowledge and skill.
