Hi, my name is Isaiah and I am a professional Neo-Soul recording artist and vocal coach from Garner, North Carolina. I have been a student of music for 4 years. My musical influences include: Jonathan McReynolds, Fred Hammond, Whitney Huston, Jessica Reedy, & Erykah Badu. I also enjoy teaching the art and emotion behind writing music and stanza/verse framework. My teaching style can best be described as fun, comical, and emotional. My teaching philosophy that I teach my students are “The foundation of who you are, are the building blocks to your destiny.” In my lessons, you can expect to learn not only music but yourself in a deeper level since music embodies emotions. I like to tell my students the pen doesn’t write the music but your lyrics captures your reality. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing a student grow to levels they thought they couldn’t and when they hear the difference in their tone. My favorite performance was when I played on “Once On This Island” stage play. My students love that I encourage them and will never give up on them. I primarily teach adults but I can also teach young adults and teenagers. My approach as a teacher is to observe where the student wants to grow and get them to their primary goals while also expanding their knowledge. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
