Greetings everyone and welcome to a music friendly environment created by a free spirited, music loving being! My name is Sherica, but everyone calls me J. I have been in the music industry professionally for about 13 years in total but I have had a love for music throughout my entire life. I have a degree in Audio Engineering. My passion and knowledge for music, instruments and instrumentals grow daily. I am a string lover, my absolute favorite sounds exude from the guitar and the violin. I am an avid believer in being a great student in order to be a great teacher so naturally I try to challenge myself to learn something new about music daily. I am well versed in song writing, producing, engineering, piano and guitar. I look forward to working with individuals who feel just as passionate as I do in this music world. Hope to see you soon!

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner
I will teach you chords, notes and how to recognize these things by sound. You will also learn to create instrumentals, build confidence in your sound profile and play by ear as well as by reading music.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Learning how to translate your feelings and thoughts into song lyrics can help you learn how to communicate better overall. I will teach you that as well as how different genre's use different methods to create a solid foundation for a song through your lyrics. You will learn how to go with the flow of the song, how to write a hook or chorus, how to write a bridge, and how to write a verse.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
How the song makes you feel is important and can often be felt through the instrumental alone. I will teach you how to make music with what you feel. Educate you about sounds and how each sound provokes a different feeling. I will teach you how to build a solid instrumental foundation that tells a story all on its own.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Learning your own voice and its strengths and weakness' are important in becoming a good vocalist. I will teach you how to reach your strengths and improve your weakness'. You will learn about pitch and tone. Most importantly you will learn how to control your voice.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Strings are important in any good musical composition in my opinion. Here you will learn the basics of the guitar, along with the build and structure of the instrument.
