Ryan has performed in California, Washington, Hawaii, and the United Kingdom and strives to expand the boundaries of classical music. While primarily a violist and conductor, he also teaches guitar and violin, and focuses on building healthy technique and broadening musicality. Ryan studied viola performance at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, where he won the Concerto Competition, and led rehearsals and sectionals for the Central Valley Youth Symphony. He continued his studies in viola and conducting at Central Washington University. There, he served as Assistant Conductor of the Central Washington University Symphony and the Wenatchee Valley Symphony. Now based in Nevada, Ryan strives to enrich the lives of students of all ages through a deeper understanding of music.
