Hello! My name is Matt. I’m a guitarist of 12 years and I am from Kansas City Missouri but I currently live in Olathe Kansas. My guitar playing is a very unique blend between blues, hard rock, metal, grunge and funk. My favorite guitarists are Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, and John Frusciante. I am a songwriter, producer, and performing artist under the stage name “K1NG”. I write and perform my own original rap rock/alternative music. I love both modern and old music. My appreciation for both molded me into a relatable artist and teacher. My no pressure yet consistent approach to teaching the art of guitar will help you pick up skills faster. My goal is not just to teach you guitar, but to show you why it’s the passion of millions across the world. In lessons, I won’t just teach you how something works, but why it works.
