My first musical instrument was the Baritone in sixth grade band. In seventh grade I tried the Trumpet, and after a few months settled on the Trombone for the remainder of my middle school years. I learned how play guitar when I was 14, in the summer before my freshman year in high school from a friend of mine that was taking lessons. Since then it has become a beautifully instructive part of my life. After two years in guitar classes as well as a year in chorus, I felt extremely gifted. I realized it was not talent that made me so passionate about learning music, but the ability to become skilled that an instrument offered. There were no limits to my musical abilities but myself. I believe life itself is the same way. I wish to bring the love of music I have found to others, and by doing so make the world a bit more beautiful. An examle of what I am able to teach, though an extreme one, would be a song I learned over the course of a semester in college. Ocean by John Butler is one of the most amazing works of music I have run into. Here is a link to the version I learned

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner -
I have invested immense amounts of my personal time into the practice of writing poetry. This helps immensely with the lyrical side of song writing, which is always the part I have focused on most when composing my own music.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I will never rush a lesson. The fact that learning something new takes time, and more importantly patience, is one that Guitar has taught me more than anything else in my life. If you are learning to impress a female, and many men are, I am certainly going to be able to help you.
