Quinn has been playing the guitar for over thirteen years and has considerable experience as a teacher and as a performer! He has been the lead guitarist of various bands and has performed in various settings around the world. Currently, Quinn is the guitarist and primary songwriter for the Austin based band, The Dragon Berries. One of his biggest accomplishments has been obtaining a sponsorship from NY based guitar company, D'Angelico. Quinn has teaching experience with all levels and all ages. What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect a detailed breakdown of some of their favorite songs in order to determine how a great song is built. The only way to write great songs, are to improve from previously written songs and learning from others. Expect to be pushed to write and finish songs, while allowing plenty of time for critique.
What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
Expect dexterity exercises to get comfortable with your instrument. Then it will be a combination of learning songs that you enjoy while explaining some music theory along the way.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect an approach that is unique to them. I will tailor the lessons based upon the goals and influences of each student. I usually like to balance having students practice things that will improve technical ability as well as having them learn songs that get them excited about learning guitar.
