10 Years
When he was 9 years old, Gary's oldest brother came home from Vietnam and brought a guitar with him; when his brother was going to college on the GI Bill, Gary would sneak into his room and play it. By the time Gary was 18, he had played in or led two 70s covers bands, a bluegrass band that featured a Grand Ole Opry band member and his hometown's first punk rock band. In the ensuing years, Gary has written well over 500 songs, recorded and produced several albums, served as the Music Director for a theatrical company, earned his BS degree in Education, and served as the Music Director and Fine Arts Department chair for a public school. If you'd like to learn how to play guitar, bass or keys-or how to play better, let Gary help you in your pursuits!
Gary L. has over 10 years of music experience in the Savannah area.
Gary L. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons, Keyboard and Piano Lessons .Degree and Field of Study:
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Music should be fun and/or moving. Each student's curriculum is fluid and guided by mutual agreement, taking into account what and how the student wants to learn. Students are never rushed or forced to learn something they have no interest in. One lesson builds on the other, while over time, a body of technical skills and repertoire spring forth.
