A music instructor from Houston, Texas, Samhas been a music educator for three years, and has been performing for ten. Their teaching style can best be described as dedicated and positive. As your instructor, it is Sam's goal to make sure each student has their own individual lesson plans and goals to support their musical and artistic growth in the best way possible. In their lessons, you can expect to learn at least a rudimentary amount of music theory, how to read sheet music and chord sheets, as well as the instrument or topic of your preference. What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
The student will learn how to properly warm up the voice, learn basic music theory and sight reading to further the progression of their voice, work on techniques to healthily sing with power, control, and artistry, and work on individual songs either the student can bring in or the teacher can choose.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
The student will be taught how to be a writer as well as a composer, focusing equally on lyrics and instrumentation. Songwriting is all about unlocking your inner artist, and using the music to further the impact of your lyrics and vice versa. The student can expect to learn how to do just that.
