Hi, my name is Rebecca and I am an Elementary Music Teacher from Maryland. I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Instrumental Music Education, and I currently teach both vocal/general and instrumental. My teaching style can best be described as very laid back. My teaching philosophy is that all students "can" if they put forth the effort and work. I strive to take into consideration each student's individual needs first, then adapt my lesson around them. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the beginning and/or intermediate stages of playing an instrument: Applying note and rhythm reading to performing on an instrument. What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students can expect to review the basics of note and rhythm reading, identifying notes on their specified instrument, and adding the fingerings/positions into the mix as well. After a good basis is formed, students will progress and expand their repertoire of notes, rhythms, and skills depending on their learning style.
