Eric has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of 12 and continued his education by constantly practicing. His musical influences include The Beatles and Motley Crue. Eric's favorite thing about music is the joy it brings and his favorite thing about teaching music is seeing students improve. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when a student learned to play his favorite songs and got super excited about that! What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I teach how to develop an idea for a song using creative material from the writers own life, and write lyrics using rhymes and visual imagery.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I go over basic chords, major and minor, and then teach a song they can play using the chords I just taught. It is meant to be fun, instructional and show fast results when they can play songs after only one or two lessons. Depending on how advanced the student is, I sometimes have to teach proper picking, strumming and fretting techniques.
