Hi I am Xuan, a current graduate student and keyboard teaching assistant at Peabody Conservatory. I started to play piano when I was 5. In terms of my teaching experience, I have begun to teach students since 15 years old. At first, I taught Solfeggio and Music Theory to help students who want to attend music school. And then, after accumulating some teaching experience, I started to teach piano. Up to now, I have taught for 8 years and have nearly 100 students whose age ranges from 5 to 61. These teaching experience are also beneficial for my piano performance.

But the most important thing I have realized is that teaching piano is not only about music piece itself, but also including the education of inner personal quality of each student. As students should first know how to be a good man so that they can create pure and natural music. I think The Juilliard School pays great attention to the entire aspect to develop their students, which helps students to be mature artists.
