Greetings future songwriters, blues pickers and shredders! My name is Gary, but you can call me TJ. Wether you're a fresh beginner or if you want to try to learn some more technique to increase your skills as a player, I believe together we can get you on the road to being the best guitar player you can be! I specialize in blues, folk, rock and metal, but I can work with almost any genre you would like to learn. If you would like to make progress quickly without sacrificing quality practice then let's get your musical journey started!

What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
Following the same principles of my guitar teaching I focus on teaching techniques neccesary to learn songs and jam with other musicians. I try to help my students learn and improve as quickly and efficiently as possible while keeping that process from being boring or tedious.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
I focus heavily on teaching technique, but I like to come up with engaging and creative ways to do so. A student can become very bored with a rigid practice schedule so I encourage fun but effective ways to learn the techniques you need to learn any song you want as compared to just teaching you songs. I believe this is the most effective way to make quick, quality progress.
Formal Education:
I have no formal musical education but I strongly believe I make up for that in passion for music and persistant practice that will translate well to helping you learn what you need to be the best player you can be.
Private Education:
Multiple years of everyday practice and lessons from a professional and comprehensive instructor.
Performing Experience:
Open mics, street performing and local shows.
Experience Teaching:
3 years teaching guitar lessons from home.
