Susie has always loved music from an early age. She began playing piano and guitar at the age of 10 and continued her education by joining a band with her brother at a young age, and later playing the bar scene in Portland Oregon. Susie joined a 50's/60's band in 1982 and went on a 3 month USO tour and played for the military in Japan, The Philippines, Hawaii, and Korea. Susie plays electric guitar and acoustic guitars and teaches both..

Her musical influences include Heart, Journey and some of the older bands. Susie writes her own music and has spent many hours in the studio, recording, producing. Susie worked with other professionals in the music business who showed her some recording tricks to make a "bigger" sound when recording. .Susie's favorite thing about music is teaching acoustic and rock guitars, teaching tuning, how to purchase a guitar and what to look for, teaching how to set up the amp, how to use foot pedals, etc... and her favorite thing about teaching music is taking a pace that works for the learner, making it fun, rocking it out and showing someone else how to, or keeping is more relaxed and acoustic and how to change things up song to song. Susie is new to actual training, as most of her teaching has been in passing and working with other musicians in the studio.

Susie has a lot of background in playing and is committed to the best training and experiences for you and your child, friend, family member. Susie has lots of experience which translates into knowledge. Susie was a trainer at Intel for many years, working in a cleanroom, making computer chips and has spent the last 15 years working in the medical field working with all age groups. Susie is an experienced trainer of over 15 years.
