Hi! My name is Al, I am a guitarist, and singer/songwriter, and recording engineer, local producer. I have been playing guitar for 45 years, and professionally for over 30 years. I have been blessed to play with such greats as Dan Toler, Dickie Betts, Rick Derringer and many more. For the last 3 years, I have been on tour across the U.S. with a musical production called Decades Rewind. I helped write the show. I have been greatly influenced by rock music like Kansas, Yes, Rush, Allman Brothers, Gvmt Mule, and many more. I have been told that I am a natural teacher, very patient, and willing to work at your speed.

Beginner - Intermediate
I have been a songwriter for over 40 years. I am published and have two songs that have been recorded by the artist Rick Derringer, one of them made it on 3 albums. Crafting a song from your words, or crafting a melody from your ideas are a lot more about work, and a lot less about the muse. Making a song from your ideas whether they are just words, a melody, or just a cool riff, is one of the most satisfying things in life. I help take your ideas and put them into song for, and I specialize in "The Hook"

Easy to understand, and fun to learn a new instrument. It is something you will have all of your life. The lessons help focus, hand-eye coordination, and musical understanding. Plus you learn how to play classic and current songs.

Navigating a DAW arena is difficult, and harrowing, and sometimes just downright confusing, I am able to use my hours behind the console to not only navigate the software, but also teach how to mix, and use studio tools correctly and help avoid common mistakes in recording.
