Hi, my name is Alexandria and I am an art nerd from Harford County, Maryland. I have been a student of music for 13 years. My musical influences include Bach and I also enjoy Jimmy Hendrix. My teaching style can best be described as relaxed. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe music is a universal language and anybody has the ability to learn. In my lessons, you can expect to learn anything from classical to jazz or even pop. I like to tell my students do what makes you happy. My favorite thing about teaching is the impact I am able to have on peoples lives through sharing. My favorite performance was at the Kimmel Center with the Peabody Youth Orchestra and special guests. My students love that I am very down to earth. I primarily teach Bass and French horn, but I can also teach other strings and brass. My approach as a teacher is to teach my students how to be great without hurting themselves or any life commitments they may have. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!
