16 Years
Music has been the one constant in life for me, as it never fails to reel me back in with something new, something rad as heck. It's the one sure thing I've found that can express the inexpressible, sooth the un-soothable, and simultaneously entertain you and others while also looking like a rockstar. If I can help someone else come to that conclusion, I could die happy (and happily walk up the stairway to heaven)
Lue M. has over 16 years of music experience in the Austin area.
Lue M. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Vocal Lessons, Song Writing Lessons, Record Engineer Produce .Degree and Field of Study:
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
I've been recording/engineering/producing my own music for 4 years now, and I've learned a lot from others and bandmates. I have access to a small studio fit with Logic Pro X, and Ableton, keyboards with MIDI capabilities, instruments, mics, and a few odds and ends. These are all things that I will teach you to use and enjoy on any depth that you need!
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
I've been writing nearly all of my 24 years on this rock, and I still say there is no one way to approach songwriting! In these lessons, I will make it a point to customize and cultivate your learning experience based on your unique perspectives and emotions. Because that's a BIG part of making GOOD music and standing out from the crowd
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Whether you're just wanting to learn how to jam out a few of your favorite tunes, or wanting a more in depth education on technique, theory, and application, I can surely provide the right and most genuine experience for you
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
For beginners looking to learn how to sing their favorite songs/genres, intermediate singers looking to learn techniques, tips, and tricks, or more advanced vocal performers wanting applicable voice theory: While I may not be Aretha Franklin, I can definitely help you get on the path to getting there!
Formal Education:
I studied Bassoon from 5th grade, all the way into college (Texas State Uni for bassoon, UMHB for guitar). My father is a professional Pianist and musicologist, so at the spry age of 5 he had me learning some piano and mostly guitar, as well as music theory.
Private Education:
Avid student of Wayne Bannonin Guitar and Piano for 15 years, as well as 10 years self taught experience in banjo, voice, and engineering/production
Performing Experience:
4 years of live performances in entertainment/contemporary music, 12 years experience of classical performances with bassoon
Experience Teaching:
5 years of accumulative teaching experience
