About Me

Hello! I am a professional vocalist, songwriter, artist development coach and studio musician with 20 years of experience performing, touring, and recording. My most recent achievements include nominations by the Dallas Observer for "Best Pop Act" and COSIGN's "Creative Artist of the Year" for 2019. My personal genre can be described as "soul pop" but my expertise spans from my experience performing country music and pop for crowds up to 20,000 people, to my 12 years of classical training. My goal is to identify the artist within. Anyone can learn to sing, but finding out what makes you unique and your own personal voice is key.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Songwriting is essential to every artist. We will work on discovering your specific voice and story, building the foundation for an authentic piece or body of music that represents your individuality and style. I will help you learn how to identify song structure, keys, bpm, chord progressions & even walk you through basic home-recording (including advising on gear to purchase-if you have not set up your own studio.)

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

After we establish your goals and starting point, We will work on technique, control, stage presence, style, and developing your voice, as well as your identity as an artist. I will guide you through every aspect of controlling and developing your voice. As vocalists, our bodies are our instruments. So, we will practice mindfulness exercises and physical warm-ups/workouts (in addition to vocal.) basic music theory, and breathing.

Review:

LOVE taking lessons with Savannah.

She makes things very easy to understand, and helps me fine tune the little things as well as the big things. She also is very friendly and fun to work with, would recommend! Zoe Andrade wrote on Thu, 30 Apr 2020
