Hi, my name is Dovetta and I am a professional singer from Baltimore. I started singing in my church choir at the tender of 2. From then on, my love for music never died. I Performed in plays and musicals while also singing in school choirs and small ensemble groups through my elementary to high school tenure.

I started my first youth ensemble group, “’s Blessings” to bring more youth closer to God through music. I was also hand-picked to join “Sounds Unlimited” an elite small ensemble group that performed and won national singing completions. In college, I pursued a degree in Psychology with a minor in Music. I was exposed to different genres and styles of music. I began to sing opera and jazz, as well and learn and perform scores in many different languages. I went on to lead and direct my own ensemble group, “Voices of Praise” to sing in various parts of the country. In all of my lessons, I strive to teach confidence and fearlessness in singing. I like to tell my students, “Take a deep breath then Sing out loudly and proudly.” I want them to exude confidence in their ability, so that whether the notes are right or wrong, they can still perform.

During my lessons, one can expect to learn singing techniques that will enhance tone, diction, and breathing. I will train your ears to identify harmonies, key changes, and modulations so that you can sing better with others or solo. With my experience and dedication, we can enhance your vocal ability exponentially. Let’s grove to the rhythm and sing in the key of life!
