My name's Alex and I'm a guitarist of 15 years, with experience writing, recording and performing many styles of music. Most recently I've published songs through my solo project: I have years of experience teaching guitar to kids and adults.
My favorite part about teaching is seeing the development of a student's creative potential and instrumental proficiency. In addition, I also have experience as a guitar student to three different guitar teachers. The first one taught the basic ergonomic features of the guitar i.e. how to play. The second taught the importance of style and attitude in your playing. And finally, the third taught technical discipline in guitar and the hidden gems of music theory. Perhaps the final teacher then includes the rest of the musical influences we find in life, from Miles Davis to Kurt Cobain, to like minded students and fellow musicians.
I hope to impart the teachings of the three masters and my own insights to help you achieve your goals in music, from the foundational elements of vibration to the ever increasing complexity of sound. -Alex
