Brian began playing piano at the age of eight. Over the years, he developed his skills further by studying trombone, guitar, and electric bass at Texas Tech University. He gained performance experience in orchestral and rock music by playing at such venues as the Meyerson Symphony Center, The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, The House of Blues, and multiple Division 1 college football/basketball games with acts such as The Allen Escadrille, The Goin' Band from Raiderland, Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra, Swan Song, RushMore, and others. Though Brian can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are rock, blues, and jazz, which had great influence on his style of playing. Brian loves music because it is a universal language, and loves teaching music because it allows self-expression and brings people together. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Brian can help you expand and enhance your playing. Brian is excited to learn how he can help you reach your musical goals.
