Hi, my name is Alex and like you I dreamed of becoming a guitar legend. I would always hear music on the radio and think "man, I wish I could do that, but I'm not sure if I have what it takes". I was always drawn to music and would sing tunes in my head that I heard throughout the day. From a young age I wanted to know how to play the music that would play in my head day in and day out. My parents asked me if I wanted to join the band in school and told me that it would be hard work but that I would enjoy it and it would pay off in the end. I joined my school band in the 5th grade with the trombone in my arsenal, I was made to practice at least 2 hours every single day, and trust me I didn't want to always do that but in the end it allowed me to truly understand the language of music. It wasn't until I went to boarding school where I picked up my first guitar and plucked around on it for a little bit and realized I had fell in love with it. The trombone taugth me about how notes were just but a language yet to be discovered, but the guitar felt right, it felt much more comfortable than the trombone. I knew that I wanted to discover everything about it's special language but I didn't know where to start. I beleive that I have enough knowledge that I can make anyone great at the guitar in their own way, with their own soul put into their playing. I beleive I have a set curriculum that will help you understand the soul of music rather than frets on a fretboad.
