Hollie has always loved music from an early age. She began singing at 10 and playing piano at the age of 18 and continued her education by singing in choirs, performing as a lead in a musical, and performing in a band and most recently as a solo artist in local wineries, bars, recreation centers, and restaurants. Her musical influences include Lauryn Hill, The Beatles, Ray Charles, Nina Simone, Etta James, Stevie Nicks, Queen, Nirvana, and Janis Joplin. Hollie's favorite thing about music is how it evokes so much emotion within herself and others; and her favorite thing about teaching music is spreading that joy to more and more people. When taking lessons with Hollie you can expect a personal experience that is specific to the musician.
