Review About Me
I am currently playing bass with a classic rock band, New Trick. We are rooted in Classic Rock but play New Rock and New Country as well.
I feel that as a musician, it is important to expose yourself to as many different types of music as possible.
I have played in bands that covered a a variety of styles from hard rock to country and jazz with the bulk of my experience falling in the country rock/country swing sound area.
I also have participated in a number of musical theater projects, most importantly as music director for a production of Hair! in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
While in college, I played with the College Stage Band and various jazz ensembles.
I am working as a Systems Engineer for the U.S. Army at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois. I Received my BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa in 1990.
I am currently a member of the Iowa National Guard and I have deployed twice with them.
I have lived in the same home in Iowa City for 25 years.
