Steve has always loved music from an early age. He began playing 1964 at the age of 15 and continued his education by music theory in high school,Berkley School Of Music, NE Ohio Modern ed in Jazz Improvising. His musical influences include Eric Clapton,Ray Charles,Gershwin,Wes Montgomery and others.Steve's favorite thing about music is bringing happiness to others and his favorite thing about teaching music is watching a student enjoy the thrill of making music. One of his favorite teaching experiences was helping a blind student learn to play guitar. When taking lessons with Steve you can expect patience,a love for teaching and having fun while learning. He looks forward to getting to know you as a student and learning about your specific goals, interests, and learning to styleook a lesson now and get connected right away!

Studied music theory in high school,courses through the Berkley School Of Music, and with Phil Rizzo (writer of several major books on Jazz and music in general) I also studied classical guitar at the University Of Alsaka.
Private Education:
Continue to study all forms of guitar and music theory.

I have been performing since 1970

I started teaching at 18 and owned my own music school (The Ravenna School Of Music) for 20 years.
