My name is Terrance and I have always loved music from an early age. I began playing guitar at the age of nine and continued my education through free lessons from my church, private lessons funded by my grandfather, and teaching myself through the internet and applying what I learn in theory classes to the fret board My musical influences include but are not limited to John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mac Miller, and Dominic Fike.
My favorite thing about music is that it is the universal language that everyone can understand and enjoy. My favorite thing about teaching music is inspiring and helping others learn and practice what they are passionate about. One of my favorite teaching experiences was watching my sister play her first chords on the guitar correctly. When taking lessons with me, you can expect to leave your lesson having learned new playing techniques and how to practice them.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
Students can expect my guitar lessons to be focused on their particular wants, needs, and interests regarding guitar music. Introductions to reading music, understanding/applying rhythms and improvisation, and understanding/applying chords and chord progressions are just a few aspects of learning guitar and other instruments that are well within my skill set as a teacher.
