I am a singer/songwriter with a lit of passion for music and the importance of music in mental health. I have taught music therapy in private groups amongst peers including family and friends for about 6 years. I love music and all the wonderful light the art of making music and listening brings into the world. I believe every individual should have the knowledge of reading and writing music as well as the ability to play an instrument or sing a tune. I cant wait to see all of the people that Taylor Robinson can bring together to enjoy all the fun music has to offer.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
You can expect to learn minor and major guitar scales and chords. As long as you make time to practice and are willing to learn you can expect to be capable of performing in a church or an open mic night in front of a live audience in less than a year. Vocal lesson students can expect to learn about singing techniques and range differentiation to be capable of singing different pitch, volumes, and styles in several various octaves. Piano lesson students can expect to learn how to read music and play along to simple songs until reaching intermediate level.
Formal Education:
I took music lessons since age 5 with numerous different teachers for 2 different instruments. At age 5 I began piano lessons with my teacher Mrs. Beach until I changed my focus to the harmonica at age 8. My harmonica studies are all self taught. I changed instrument studies yet again at age 12 with beginning guitar lessons at age 12 with my teacher Mrs. Heely. I continued taking guitar lessons under a different instructor after Mrs. Heely retired with Nick Caspers. Nick Caspers gave me guitar lessons for 1 year before I stopped taking lessons and started a band with Mr. Caspers
Private Education:
I am a self taught learner of computer software's for music production programs as well as recording programs. A list of programs I understand well enough to teach any person willing to learn: Fruity Loops, Reason, Audacity, A list of programs I have used but still have much to learn: Pro Tools, Abelton Live. I am a self taught Harmonica player and am capable of giving lessons on Harmonica as well.
Performing Experience:
I have been performing musically since age 12 beginning with singing.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching my kids how to play the piano/keyboard for 3 years.
