Tanner began playing guitar and banjo at the age of 16. Over the years, he developed his skills further by dedication alongside school and performing at venues around Orlando. He gained performance experience in the Orlando/Winter Garden area by playing at such venues as Lil Indies, Will's Pub, and Pilars, with acts such as Florida Man, Jade Frances, and Dougie Flesh and the Slashers. Though Tanner can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are folk, country, and bluegrass which had great influence on his style of playing. Tanner loves music because it is an art-form that we can always improve upon while having lots of fun in the process, and loves teaching music because sharing knowledge and techniques are very beneficial to a student as well as a teacher. What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
My students can expect a fundamental background of music theory, how it is applied to guitar as well as other stringed instruments, great ways of creating their own sound, and some different styles of picking such as with a flat pick or finger picks.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner
My students can expect to understand signal flow, get a good grasp of using tools/equipment to get the sound they want, and to gain some speed at which they're able to edit and master songs/audio.
