At the ripe young age of 12 years old, Shawn saved up and purchased his first guitar and a tiny little fender combo amp. Immediately enrolled in private guitar lessons and began his journey to become THE BEST GUITARIST IN THE WORLD.... Ok maybe not the best. HOWEVER At the still ripe young age of 29 he still finds as much love and joy in his craft as he did when he was tearing up blink 182 songs as a teenager. Shawn has a wide variety of genres and styles that he enjoys playing. He grew up playing pop punk, metal, hardcore, and the occasional Catchy John Mayer lick. He has performed at over 100 live shows in Deep Ellum, and the door in Plano when it still existed of course as well as a few out of state shows. Now a days Shawn is an independent music producer, song writer, and is educating himself in the art of audio mixing and mastering. Shawn offers a wide variety of styles and skill sets to apply to your lesson plan so that YOU CAN BECOME THE BEST GUITARIST IN THE WORLD!
