Hey! My name is Sebastian Rodriguez. I’m a 19 year old college student that is very passionate about music and playing guitar. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 7 so guitar has been a part of my life for most of it. Some of my biggest influences are Slash, Randy Rhoads, John Mayer, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Clark, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eddie Van Halen, etc. I play mainly electric guitar, however I attended an arts high school where I was classically trained. There I was included in the top ensemble called Aeolian and we would perform in different places and competitions around FL and represent the guitar department at our school. For my sophomore year in high school I moved to Virginia and was a part of a program called Pat Sommers Rock Shop run by Pat Sommers who apart of the original guitarist from Kiss Ace Frehley's solo project, along with doing small projects with Roger Daltrey from The Who and Joan Jett. The program was for teens to learn how to play in a band together and how to for an audience and be an entertainer. I’m continuing to pursue music for my career and while I’m in college I would love to pass on what I know to others and help them to grow as musicians. I’ve never taught lessons professionally before aside from assisting my peers in anything they struggled with so I’m very excited to be able to teach and inspire students that have the same passion for music as myself.
